Sunken Driveway Approach Lifting in Frontenac, MO
The Problem
A homeowner in Frontenac, Missouri, had a sinking concrete driveway approach. The section near the street had settled below its original position, creating an uneven transition between the roadway and the rest of the driveway.

How We Fixed It
We used our polyurethane concrete lifting process to raise and support the sinking driveway approach.
Step 1: Drill Small Access Holes
Small holes measuring approximately 5/8 inch were carefully drilled through the affected concrete. These access points allowed us to reach the empty spaces beneath the settled driveway slab.
Step 2: Inject High-Density Polyurethane Foam
High-density polyurethane foam was injected beneath the driveway approach. As the foam expanded, it filled underground voids, restored support, and carefully lifted the settled concrete.
The affected section was raised toward its original position and aligned with the surrounding driveway slabs as closely as existing conditions allowed.
Step 3: Patch and Clean Up
After the driveway approach was lifted and stabilized, the small access holes were patched and the work area was cleaned. The polyurethane foam cured quickly, allowing the repaired area to return to use with minimal downtime.
The Results
The sinking driveway approach was raised and supported without removing and replacing the existing slab.
